As an L-1 Enrollment Services Fingerprinting Location, Harten is recognized by Immigration Canada, the RCMP, and the FBI.
Permanent Residency & Citizenship
Canadian regulations require applicants to submit fingerprints to obtain background clearance certificates from any jurisdiction where they have resided for more than six months.
Harten ensures your fingerprints are completed using the correct forms and submitted to the appropriate authorities.

Before Your Appointment
- Walk-ins are accepted; however, calling ahead is recommended to minimize wait times.
- Bring any letter or file number received from the requesting agency.
- Bring two pieces of valid government-issued identification, including one photo ID.
Processing Time
Fingerprint processing times are determined by the RCMP and do not include mailing or courier delivery times. Processing may take longer during periods of high demand or if a previous criminal record is identified.

The RCMP returns completed results directly to the Canadian immigration office processing the application.

Applicants living in Canada generally require both:
- FBI Criminal Record Check
- RCMP Criminal Record Check
Both fingerprint submissions can be completed during the same appointment.
